Q: Is this a fundraiser?
A: Yes, this is our annual fundraising event for Gen House. This year’s gala will benefit the construction of our first children’s home to care for orphaned and vulnerable in Northern Uganda, specifically in our village, Acut Omer.

Q: Are there other ways to support the cause outside of attending the gala?
A: Yes, there are giving opportunities for corporate sponsors to participate via table sponsorships. There are also full and half-page advertisements available for businesses which will be included in our event’s program. Individual patrons and those that purchase the commemorative bricks will also be recognized for their giving in our event’s program. Q: What is the name and address of the venue?
A: The event is being held at the Atlanta City Hall. This location has two addresses. Please enter via the 55 Trinity Avenue Southwest entrance. The program will be held in the building’s atrium.

Q: What is the price and location for event parking?
A: Self-parking is available in the Government Center Parking Deck located at 200 Central Avenue Southwest Atlanta, GA 30303. Once inside of the parking deck, please walk under the green covered bridge towards the 55 Trinity Avenue Southwest entrance to Atlanta City Hall.

Q: Is there a deadline to purchase tickets?
A: Yes, the last day to purchase tickets to the gala is October 13, 2019.

Q: What time does the event begin?
A: Check-in will being promptly at 5:45pm and the gala will start at 6:00pm.

Q: What is the attire?
A: The event attire is formal/black tie.

Q: Do I need a physical ticket for the Gala? 
A: Physical tickets are not required however proof of purchase must be presented upon arrival at the check-in table.

Q: Will dinner be served at the event?
A: Yes, a seated dinner will be served and the cost is covered with the purchase of your ticket to the gala.

Q: Is there coat check, where is it located and what is the cost? 
A: Guests will receive complimentary coat-check upon arrival

Q: Can I bring a camera and/or video camera?
A: We ask that you do not bring large cameras and/or video cameras to the event. Using the camera on your mobile device or small tablet is preferred and acceptable.

Q: Is there a hashtag to join the social conversation around the gala?
A: Yes! The hashtags for The Falls Gala are #TheFallsGala2019, #RestorationWaterfall and #JourneyToGenHouse.

Q: Are children allowed to attend?
A
: Children under 16 years of age will not be allowed to attend the event.

Q: Are tickets refundable?
A: All ticket sales are final and cannot be refunded however, they are tax-deductible.
